JTAG / ISP

Using the ISP “In-System Programming” method, our analysts can connect to an eMMC or eMCP flash memory chip for the purpose of downloading a device’s complete memory contents. eMMC and eMCP memory are the standard in today’s smartphones, and the ISP method enables our analysts to directly recover the complete data without removing the chip and destroying the device. This method bypasses user locks and PIN codes.

CHIP-OFF

Chip-off forensics is an advanced data extraction technique which involves physically removing flash memory chip(s) from a target device and then acquiring the raw data using specialized equipment. Chip-off forensics allows our analysts to collect a complete physical image of nearly any device, regardless of lock, PIN code, or status– even those which have suffered catastrophic damage. This method however is very invasive and does render the device unusable afterwards.
Chip-Off enables recovery of data even in worst case senarios.

SMARTPHONE DATA RECOVERY

Catastrophic structural damage or simple liquid damage can render a smartphone inoperable, trapping the data inside. VeriFi’s experts are trained to recover that data using board level recovery techniques specifically designed for smartphones. Trusted by local, state, and federal agencies to recover data once thought lost forever, VeriFi is on the cutting-edge of smartphone data recovery.
